The Strategies (Basic and Advanced Users)

Now that you know how to play the game of European Roulette, you are now ready to learn some of the basic and advanced strategies. As we learned earlier there are two types of bets that you can place - inside and outside. We will discuss here how to use both types of bets so that we can maximise our winnings on one hand and on the other play defensive as well. Rememeber earlier I said to play again a casino, the best way is to defend your position and buy time for yourself. If you get anxious, the casino is going to beat you. So keep your cool and paitence. Lets now learn the betting strategies both for inside and outside bets

System Name Variations
Outside Even Bets (Red/Black, Even/Odd, 1-18/19-36)
Dozens (1-12, 13-24, 25-36)
Columns ( 1st Column, 2nd Column, 3rd Column)
Inside Grand Series
Tier

Outside Betting System

Outside betting system will teach you how to bet proactively in outside bets and covering a group of numbers that has statistically the same probability of coming up. However you must remember when there is a streak of bad luck, all statistics fail and when there is streak of good luck we forget about statistics. So always stick to the basic rules I mentioned in the main page earlier.

Even Betting

The payout for an even bet (Red/Black, Even/Odd, 1-18/19-36) is 1:1. This means if you put say $1 on red and any of the red numbers comes up on the roulette wheel, then you get your $1 back and also get $1 as profit. If you lose, means you put $1 on red and a black number comes up in the roulette wheel then you lose $1. The most common and still the most popular way of playing on these even bets is to double up after every consecutive loss until your color comes up. So what does that mean? See the table below.

Spin Number Original Bet ($) Your Win Your Loss Cumulative Loss Total Win
1 1 1 1 1 1
2 3 1
3 4 4 4 7 1
4 8 8 8 15 1
5 16 16 16 31 1
6 32 32 32 63 1
7 64 64 64 127 1
8 128 128 128 255 1
9 256 256 256 511 1
10 512 512 512 1023 1

So you can see playing this system the more you keep doubling up the more money is put on stake. Upto 4 spins you will have a cumulative loss of $15 however from then onwards things can really start to get bad. So we will not go any further than 4 spins when we are doubling up otherwise to recover the money would really become too hard. And believe me sometimes when you have a streak of bad luck, even if you try for 10 times your color will not appear and just think you are putting a bet of $512 to make a profit of $1, is it worth it.

OK so the rule is when we are playing the double up strategy, we are not going to double up after the fourth spin, come whatever may.

Dozen and Column Betting

Here we will learn about two combinations. The first one is playing one column/dozen and playing 2 columns/dozens. Remember if you put $1 on any of the columns and that column comes up then you get paid 1:2. This means your $1 will earn you $2 profits. Each column or dozen covers 12 numbers out of 37 (including 0). If you put $1 each of two columns/dozens, and if one of your column/dozen comes up then you will earn $1 as profit. However if you don’t win then you will lose $2. Covering 2 columns/dozens means you are covering 24 numbers out of 37 (including 0). So your probabilities are high.

We will take an example here where we will first put $1 on dozen number 1 (1-12). If any of the numbers between 1-12 comes up then we will win $2 otherwise we will lose $1.

Spin Number Original Bet ($) Your Win Your Loss Cumulative Loss Total Win
1 1 2 1 1 2
2 1 2 1 2 1
3 2 4 2 4 2
4 3 6 3 7 2
5 4 8 4 11 1
6 6 12 6 17 1
7 9 18 9 26 1
8 14 28 14 40 2
9 21 42 21 61 2
10 31 62 31 92 1
11 47 94 47 139 2
12 70 140 70 209 1
13 105 210 105 314 1
14 158 316 158 472 2
15 237 474 237 709 2

Here also you will see after the 5th spin if you keep continuing, you would start risking too much money for eventually winning $1 or $2 at the end. And really speaking if your 1st dozen doesn’t come up in 15 spins then you are up for $709 in total losses. So the second rule here that you will have to remember.

In single column/dozen betting you will only increase the proportion of your bet till it reaches a maximum of $5 or your total losses reach $11

Two Column/Dozen betting

Here we will cover two columns/dozens. Continuing our example we will take say 1st and 2nd Dozen and start by putting $1 on each of them. Refer to the table below to see the outcomes.

Spin Number 1st Dozen($) 2nd Dozen($) Total Bet($) Your Win Your Loss Cumulative Loss Total Win
1 1 1 2 1 2 2 1
2 6 6 8 1
3 9 9 18 9 18 26 1
4 27 27 54 27 54 80 1
5 81 81 162 81 162 242 1
6 243 243 486 243 486 728 1

In this you will see that after the 3rd spin the losses gets too dearer. Though the probability of appearance of your favorable outcome is very high as you are covering 24 numbers of the table out of 37 (including 0), but it so happens that sometimes that also is not enough. So after 3rd spin, if you keep on with the sequence you will be effectively trying to put $54 to make profit of $1 and it is not worth it.

So the rule is to play upto the 3rd spin using this system.

Inside Betting System

In inside betting system, instead of playing on numbers we would play on sections of the wheel. This means we divide the sections in three parts and place bets on numbers that are there in those sections. The first section is called the GRAND SERIES, the second one is ORPHANS and the third one is TIER. Here we will learn to play the sections of the wheel.

GRAND SERIES

Grand series covers nearly half of the wheel and includes evenly distributed numbers around ZERO. The payout of Grand Series is much like the payout of an even bet except with a difference that at times if the numbers 0,1,2,3 comes up then you stand to gain more. Now as your minimum bet would be $4.5 per hand so lets draw the table again for grand series.

Spin Number Original Bet ($) Your Win Your Loss Cumulative Loss Total Win
1 4.5 4.5 4.5 4.5 4.5
2 13.5 4.5
3 18 18 18 31.5 4.5
4 36 36 36 67.5 4.5
5 72 72 72 139.5 4.5
6 144 144 144 283.5 4.5
7 288 288 288 571.5 4.5
8 576 576 576 1147.5 4.5
9 1152 1152 1152 2299.5 4.5
10 2304 2304 2304 4603.5 4.5

You will see after the 3rd spin again the cumulative losses becomes too high to cover. So we will restrict ourselves upto 3rd spin and no more.

TIERS

Tiers are the numbers that covers the section of the wheel exactly opposite to ZERO equally in both directions. Here is outcome is more or less like putting money on a single dozen/column. Say if you put $3 on Tier numbers then you will get $9 as payout. So we will follow the table with single dozen payout with one difference, the starting bet will be $3.

Spin Number Original Bet ($) Your Win Your Loss Cumulative Loss Total Win
1 3 6 3 3 6
2 3 6 3 6 3
3 6 12 6 12 6
4 9 18 9 21 6
5 12 24 12 33 3
6 18 36 18 51 3
7 27 54 27 78 3
8 42 84 42 120 6
9 63 126 63 183 6
10 93 186 93 276 3

In tiers though the returns are good and tempting, but remember you are starting to bet with $3 instead of $1. So be careful. We will restrict here after the 5th spin as it again gets too high to cover up things after the 5th spin. The rule is never to keep adding your bets on tiers after 5th spin. STOP.

Practice

Assuming now that you have already downloaded one of the casino softwares, you must practice the above strategies in virtual mode before taking the final plunge to the system. I would suggest here during the practice phase, you try to increase the number of spins after subsequent loss and keep a note as to when the outcome that you were hoping to come, comes up.

By now you have done the following things

  • Downloaded a Casino Software
  • Read all about the game of Roulette
  • Have clear understanding of the Strategies
  • Have used the strategies in virtual mode

Now you are ready to learn the system. But before we move ahead, a quick reminder of the basic rule - as a player you are vulnerable to your GREED, lack of SELF DICIPLINE and can play for endless TIME. So don't be greedy, maintain self dicipline by sticking to the system and never play more than what you have aimed for.

Excited and Ready for the system
